I thought it was the other way around…that Pakistanis were more particular about the grammar/structure/sound whereas Indians were more laid back.
For example, differences such as
zeera…jeera…
zindagi…jindagi
mujhay…meray ko
Kyoon…kai ko
And other examples that are not coming to mind. I think I vaguely remember one of Indian friends (Muslim) said that Pakistani urdu is more proper. Of course other factors such as dialect play a role as well.
