My bestie used to smoke but I’ve made her quit. I guess it’s kinda alluring (??) but it comes off a bit pretentious to me. Especially when a desi girl does it. And when I was younger, I used to think guys who were SO bada** :halo: but it makes me cringe now. I made my guy quit too, but only for health reasons and he’s been smoke-free for 3 years, yay!

^I don’t know what’s so alluring about smoking. I find it extremely repulsive even more so than drinking alcohol. I have missed so many “reunions” and parties only because I can’t take the smell of drinking and smoking and they always do 'em in bars/clubs.
I don’t think there’s anything that turns me off as bad as smoking.

^^ smoking in bars and clubs (and all public indoor places) in the uk and usa (i think canada too) and most of europe is banned. You have to go outside the club/bar to smoke.

I can tolerate cigarette smoking. and hookah (but its not like you carry a hookah with you everywhere you go). Pot/crack....no.

and as attractive it might be to some ...when one ends up with lung cancer things seriously get ugly and unattractive so to speak.
