there is no place for kashmiri pandits

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

LOL.. Weak Indian response. Instead of holding your terrorist army to task, you point fingers. Thats the best you have.

Why are you trying to defend your armies crimes? Why are you all such morally decrepit cowards.

Have the balls to condemn what is wrong. Murder is wrong. Human rights violations are wrong. Lets see you condemn your Army and govts terrorist occupation of Kashmir... I dare you.

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

no med ... its Indian army how could they even do such things!!! how can they harm someone???? they can never condemn wht India has been doing in kashmir all these years ... cuz they have hav been pretty much doing the same in their country by suppressing almost 150 million of its own citizens in the name of caste system!!

they really live life under a rock .. and thn come up with lame excuses to justify their NONSENSE!! to argue with people like player is a waste of time and evergy!

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

:chai: ^^ Shouldn’t you guys be worrying about what Bin Laden was doing 2 hours away from Islamabad instead of worrying about India ?

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

Part of mom's family (Dogra "ethnicity") were pushed from upper parts of Kashmir to "Jammu". Jammu being the other half of the state name in no way accounts as an compensation for what we called home. Home was still the upper hills. Having heard stories of how majority of the people that now live in Jammu left home with nothing more then a memory makes me happy that I was born a generation after. It really isn't about religion or "which country your passport belongs too" battle. All people want is a simple life that gives them enough room to develop and evolve. I in no way would agree to make Kashmir an independent state. Or maybe I should correct the "I" having never lived there for more then 2 yrs myself and add "my cousins/family". Creating an independent state would be disastrous. The state has no money to protect itself nor its people let alone run a whole government and tourism is far cry from "Making any Income". To which country the state would want to go to: Wouldn't you think people would want to go with the one that gives them more room to grow in terms of social, economic and sustainable development?. Wouldn't that be more important that what was written or not written in 1948. People who talk about Kashmir and it's people and have development/ education and job as a main crietria are the one's who truly care. Anything else is just personal vendetta or opinions formed by reading media prints whose sole purpose is to add fuel to the fire and increase hatred. I've seen people who have no connection to Kashmir and/or having never stepped in the state know more about what to do, what should be done and what's best then people who actually live there..! Go to Jammu or even up in Srinagar and ask anyone what they really want and you'll know what the truth is..(Don't simply believe in a few protesters or clips that either side of the media shows).
About 10 yrs ago while on a family visit to Jammu, I heard a blast in Ragunath Bazaar. It wasn't far off from where I was and the noise sent me running back home and to vow to mom never to come back. Fortunately there weren't any casualties but I can't even imagine having to go through this a zillion times let alone losing some one close.
PS: This is solely my personal view without holding any bias"ness" for either a country or a religion. I am in no position to pass judgments and solution for the people who live there would know better then anyone but having had a slew of family members living there for generations I had to give my 2 cents and I do in some way blame the Indian government for not stepping up when they should have to protect people from harms that were beyond their control or league.

Re: there is no place for kashmiri pandits

This is about Kashmir. Not India.
