I finally got to see the pictures from my wedding photoshoot that I had with Maram-Abroo …
I like them … but there is a lot of “touching up” happening in there (especially in the pctures that i really like). Meaning either the colors are changed (black and white, some other tone), or the contrast is too high.
and i am not happy about that.
also they said 20 pics per day … so in total i shouldnve gotten 40 pics for both days .. but they are only 34.
i mailed them over a week ago saying how the pictures were short and that i’d like the unaltered pictures instead.
but i am getting really pissed off about their entire way of dealing.
In the beginning they were very prompt with replies and everything … but once the photoshoot ws done(and payment made), they said they’ll keep me updated, and that it’ll take them 5 weeks do get the album ready rolling eyes
when a month was over, and i hadnt heard anything from them, i sent them an email. no response. another mail i wrote in which i told them how i was not happy about not being told whats happening, and how i hadnt gotten a single update.
i made my mother go to to them, and then i received a reply from them … a very rude one … that my mom can pick up the album on so and so date.
i have emailed them twice now about the missing pictures, and asking for the unaltered ones … no response.
i didnt pay for this BS attitude from them!
i was very late on my barat day to get my shoot done from them for reasons. and they just sms’d me (not even a call, it felt like an sms break up really!!! ) they said the shoot is cancelled. my mom had to literally beg them to make it alright .. she told of how rude they were to her.
after agreeing to having the shoot … they messaged me how i was very unprofessional with the whole deal … and like i’ve done this a million times ..
although they were very rude, i still talked nicely to them, and on my face they talked nicely as well .. but how they interact is horrible. their communication is messed up!
This is the reason I plan to sign a contract with each bride which lays out the terms and conditions and deliverables up front. Protects the interest of the client as well as the studio. The whole situation seems very messed up. Good luck to you.
thats terrible and extremely unprofessional! and 20 pics per day?? that ridiculously low! ugh. when will pakistani vendors from pakistan learn how to be professional about their jobs and their clients?? cancelling a shoot with a bride on the day of her wedding??? incredible.
tell me about it ... who on earth cancels to a bride on her wedding day????
and then their attitude ... i am so fed up with the arrogance of the so-called-elites and the fahsion-class.
they dont have a proper manager ... just a random young girl. no proper talking into things, no idea at all of how to deal with a client. now i think about it all, and i feel so bloody angry!
thats just idiotic to cancel!
have your mom (with some heavy set dude type or uncle type or abba as a reinforcement) go talk to them about getting the photos you want. explain that you are not satisfied with the photoshopped product and would rather have the originals.
^ Thats nt good and extremely frustrating, I hate it when Pakistani (not all) who are in a profession lyk that fail to be professional and get up on their high horse about it ;-(. But my advice wud be to keep patient about and but persistent...hope things work out but dnt let it ruin things overall. x
didnt they give u soft copies of the shoot .. its a part of the deal almost at every good vendor ..u get soft copies of the images and u select the ones you like and then they are supposed to show u the finished work before it goes into printing ..thats how it works ..atleast i have good experiences so far my sister and a few cousins got photo shoots done from usman jamshed and he used to update us on email .. gave us the images .we selected the ones we wanted and he added a few which he considered to be good ..then he showed us the images before they went into the printing process so there were no problems
^ sorry to hear abt ur bad expereince. I tried to contact them several times... I spoke to them twice and both time they said they will call me back to confirm an appt. but never called :(
so i finally got a response ... to realise that the person had quit working for maram abroo ... and its not the esiest to get directly in touch wit them!
i havent even seen aabroo ... both my shoots, and one day makeup was done by maram ... dont know what aabroo is for then ...
