Theory of Evolution: A Question

What is the explanation of people of different skin colors according to the theory of evolution?

I’m guessing because of ancestors having different living conditions?

(No, I don’t believe in the evolution of humans from monkeys, although Bush does make me want to beg to differ.)

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

asian, african cavemen used to bask in the sun more i guess?

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

Yes and some psycho monkeys just sat in caves during the thousands of years of evolution, to produce what we know call "the white man". Amazing creatures, I tell ya.

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

So where did tarzan come from?

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

^ is this a Bush-Bashing thread?

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

No, but it can be. :)

Kaleem - Tarzan has the body of an evolved human, but he still has monkey-behavior. He's a glitch in the system.

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

If the real jews are black then who are the real blacks?

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

Aliens, they were playing paint the monkey, and used permanent markers.

Yes thankyou for your insight. but seriously, for those who do know a lot about the theory of evolution...what's the explanation for different skins colors and all?

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

according to a islamic scholar....he told me that ..when god was making adam and eve, god asked the angels to bring different types of soils from "earth" and because of all different types of soils were used when adam and eve were created...which resulted in what we have today as black, brown, white etc.. but allah knows better!

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

kaleem, the real blacks are white and middle classed.

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

phatima,

Theory of evolution does not have an Adam but several of them. It argues that there were many different kind of humans (two are more popular) and then eventually one of them prevailed because of better communication skills. The other argument the theory of evolution states is that it is a natural instinct to become better adapted to our environment and thus people tend to have black hair at sunny places where at places on earth where sun is not that bright people have all kinds of hair color. Also, the humans had diverse gene pools which when combined with others produced several more.

But I am no expert on it, so don't quote me. :-)

Re: Theory of Evolution: A Question

and phatty, its about natural selection and survival of the fittest. The ones best adapted to their environment ie the blacks in africa and the whites in cold reigons..survived, and thusly they are predominanatly the colour that is most suited.
