theme of the IQBAL's Shair

ki muhammad:saw: se Wafa to ne to hum teray hai
Yeh Janan Cheese hai Kiya Lah o Qalam teray hai

 This is one of the famous shair of Allama Iqbal, that we generally used to listen in Speeches. The complete islam is the THEME of this shair .I just would lik to know if som1 know the meaning (according to the particular words,i hav highlight that particular words ) chosen by POET, and you describe this shair (As alot TASAUFF is involved ),Avoid to giv the general theme of ISLAM for this shair.Unfortunately ,this are just few people who deeeply understand the concept behind this shair. Still those genious exist who really understand as well.

Re: theme of the IQBAL’s Shair

This means if you are true muslim, you can write your destiny yourself…

The other good shair alama Iqbal wrote was, ’ sare jahan se achha , hindustan hamara hamara…sare jahan se achha ’

Re: theme of the IQBAL’s Shair

This is the last sher of Jawaab-e-Shikwah… which means it is supposed to be an answer to Iqbal from Allah because of his Shikwah… So, hum = Allah

JahaaN = This World
Cheez = the physicality
Loh = Slate or Takhti
Qalam = pen

Loh-o-Qalam refers to the written destiny

It means if one follows Muhammad:saw:, Allah:swt: will love that person and his taqdeer will be according to how he wishes… In other words

Khudi ko kar buland itnaa kaY har taqdeer saY pehlaY
Khudaa bandaY saY khud poochaY, bataa teri razaa kiyaa hai?

Re: theme of the IQBAL's Shair

I think shair of Allama Iqbal is hinting towards the following ayah:

Surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition - Quran 13:11

Re: theme of the IQBAL’s Shair

its in line with the verse of the Quran…

Quran 3:31
*Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. *
