Jaawan.. Is it theifs or thiefs
Ok here it is…i was watching news the other night and there was this report about 10 or i think 20 cars stolen from the different car dealers here in atlanta, right after the debut of the movie " Gone in 60 seconds". ( in this movies they stole 50 TOP priced cars in 24 hours[havent seen yet])
My question Do you think the movies play a role in everyday crime in our society?
Again the subject thing, do you think its the movies intimidating the criminals or other way around i think its the movies, cuz monkey sees monkey do, and that makes the monkey wana do what other monkey was doing; weather good or bad. There are copy cats who would just come out of the theater and do something they saw in the movies. Everyone learns something that they do, from somewhere, weather its the movie(arts) or friends or what ever. anyways lets see what you guys think.
*yes gizzy bahi its Thiefs( i always mix up this “i” and “e” thingy anyways i think the subject should have been “criminals intimidating…OR…” and not thiefs…; thanks for pointing out my mistake!

well jawaan, i heard on the newz yesterday, they busted a group here in toronto who had been stealing luxury cars (mostly porsche’s) for over 2 years…they recovered stolen cars and car spare parts in the amount of over millions of dollars…so it looks like it’s art intimidated by thiefs

a week back or so & that Laura VJ was about to play this song from the “Gone in 60 Seconds” soundtrack << and it was SUCH a good song!! I think it was called “Painted on my Heart” hehehe>>. She said usually, 10 cars are stolen every weekend in Vancouver. However, the weekend the movie cameout there, rather, 30 cars were stolen that particular weekend.
It’s a guess, but it might be cuz of the movie as to why more ppl stole more cars.
