This is quite impressive I must say. There is this young guy Umer Durrani from Lahore, who has visited 50 different countries at the age of just 23 1/2 years.
its kinda impressive oustide Europe, but frm what i know, once you're in Europe, goin frm country to country is like goin to another city, so I suppose that's not tht enthralling, but o well, he did it :D
One thing is for sure, if he is Pakistani & visiting that many countries at this age. He & his family is resourceful & rich.
Europe is not a big deal once u are in one Shengen country or even in UK for more than six months, u can easily move around.
I have definately visited more countries mentioned in the list above (excluding couple) & I am sure there must be few more guppies who have done the same. But it costs.
Are Haiti & DR in North America?
I always thought it was only USA, Canada & Mexico.
it is very easy to visit a lot of countries once on eis in europe because most of the countries are in easy travelling distance and the visa is not difficult to get.
According to this site Haiti & DR are in Central America.
There are couple of other sites I have checked, North America is only, Mexico, USA & Canada. Anything below until columbia is Central America & rest is South America.
Backpacking around Europe might not be an expensive hobby but to do be doing for a long period of time and travelling around the world with enough time and money isn't exactly cheap either.
Although it must have been fun, but I am not sure if that is such a great accomplishment unless you were doing it for a reason. Like SugarFree said above its must be free flights or something like that.
I have a friend who used to go grocery shopping from Denver to San Fransisco for certain things. Free airline tickets allows you to take many small trips all over the world.
