My husbands just over a year younger than me....I don't really feel he's a 'younger man' thought although I suppose technically he is.

My husband is younger than me, but it never ever bothered us, as he is very mature (more than me) and doesn't look younger either.
At first when I heard that he is younger in age, I tried to block him out, but he convinced me with just few words, that it will not matter to us or our marriage.
Another good aspect of having a younger husband is that he will stay fit for longer.
There was this typical type of desi female who tried to scare me off, saying that later younger men stay fit and the female looks old. I told her if everything else is alright, men don't need to search for other females.
Only narrow minded people see age is an obstacle :)

Hmm... I guess its also a question of whether you (the wife) stays fit as much or not. Historically, in Indian-Pakistani culture, families tend to avoid marrying off an older girl with younger guy because supposedly girls age faster and lose their "charm", and that may result in the guy losing interest in their wives, in a few years time, and "idher udher muN maaring" kinda problem.
With changing times, people's views about marital compatibility, fidelity and physical fitness have also evolved, so if both of you make an effort to keep the "spark" alive, this should not be a problem.
