Y2K9 did play a major role in my two careers and at home front!
- *At showbiz front-----I received 18 offers for serials, long plays etc of which I chose 8 which were successfully recorded and two of them released same year--doing fairly well...! *
- *At professional front----I received an extension in bank service with elevation---being transferred to field as General Manager (South) for Sales at my bank (UBL) when I acquired superanuation on 13th August-2009 (14th being my 60th birthday). *
- The year 2009 also saw the release of my youngest daughter's book "RAW LIFE" which received huge honors. The book was based on randomly selected 10 personalities of Pakistan (including Kamila Shamsie, Hasan Zaidi, Vaneeza Ahmed...and others) my youngest did research on--and wrote the wonderful book which had two launches; at the Indus Valley School of Arts & Archietecture-Karachi and at Dubai by Shelters...in May. Thereafter--2009 also brought to us an honor for my same youngest when she was awarded FULLBRIGHT scholarship for two years post-grad studies in New York on Photography.
This is a good thread---reminded of ALLAH ALMIGHTY's blessings I and my family were bestowed with--during 2009 and the years earlier.
