Like the script of an inspirational Hollywood film, 2009 was a year of tragedy and triumph for Pakistan cricket. The only difference being, it was an unending reel that produced some of the most complicated circle of events and characters just when it seemed there was nothing more to the story.

To me the defining moments of Pak cricket during 2009 were the despicable attack on the SL team by a bunch of low life scums and the lifting of the T/20 trophy in june at lords.

True - The attack on SLA team bus was undoubtedly the lowest point of 2009

Nice to see 4 Pakistanis inducted in ICC’s Hall of Fame and all very deserving of the honour

I like the lines highlighting the ban on Pakistani players from participating in IPL II (by either or both Pakistani & Indian govt.)
