A scholar used to teach his students in a certain city. Once one of his students went to another city where he used very bad words for his teacher. A man who knew the scholar heard him. He happened to visit that city after few weeks. He went to meet that scholar. During the meeting the man mentioned that particular student who had used bad words for the scholar.
The scholar replied, " My student threw an arrow towards me which didn’t reach me. You picked up that arrow and made sure it is inserted in my heart."
How many times in our daily life are we responsible for picking up arrows from the ground and inserting it in the person’s heart for whom it was thrown ?

Isnt the teacher shirking responsibility. This shows that the teacher is averse to feedback. He should have understood and made the required changes in the syllabus :)
it was the student who was shirking responsibilities because they should give back their feed back to their teacher in person and not to people on street......and teacher is suppose to be the learned one and student is the one unlearned....syllabus is made my learned peoples and it cant be change for an unlearn one.....
The answer from the teacher very clearly shows how well he receives the feedback. Though teacher is supposed to be the learned one, there is always scope for improvement. The mentality of blindly following what the teacher has to say is not sufficient. It is very important to question and understand.
If what teacher say is not enough to understand then you should ask the teacher in person but off course the one with the low intellect always look for blames and criticism....
Siimplyme the story was about a social evil ...some of us in our innocence or ignorance hurt others......we don,t realize but we put the seed of hate between two peoples....that seed of hate produce tension between friends and families.....that was the main point of story.....but since you don,t like the teacher student formate....so let me put it for you in another form........
here is another version of the story..... Once upon time there were three close friends Khalid,Naim and Raiz…… One day Khalid and Raiz were invited to a dinner by another friend to another city…..they borrowd the car of Naim and went there…..Naim,s car is an old car…..he did warn them regarding its faulty engine but the others didn’t take it seriously….on their way the car stopped many times because of its faulty engine…..one time when it stopped…….in his tiredness and frustration Raiz said some mean things about Naim and his car…..they reached the dinner and came back to their own city in the faulty car… next day Khalid went to Naim,s home and told him about the mean things Riaz has said…….Naim replied, " Raiz threw an arrow towards me which didn't reach me. You picked up that arrow and made sure it is inserted in my heart."
