re: the word “fakhr” and it’s pronunciation
YEAH, you are right…this singer absolutely mispronounced the word…most people these days do NOT differentiate between ‘kh’ [as in kheera (cuke])] and ‘Kh’ [as in Kharbooza (melon], ‘g’ [gadha (donkey)] and ‘Gh’ [as in Ghazab]or ‘q’ [qaanoon (law)] and ‘k’ [kaam (work)]…it’s sad!
