according to the inept peopLE who took our whale away and killed it,
“the whale was comforted by our presence… we knew it felt safe and comforted when we petted it”

What a ridiculous statement, the animal was starving, shocked and hurt

If YOU wandered into a large forest and couldnt find your way out, you were hungry and hurt by the brambles and a load of strange martians came and squashed you into the ground and squeezed you into a plastic thingy type thing, and started to pet you whilst making what seemed to them soothing noises but to you seemed like scary shrill sounds …would you be comforted or would you freeze…

anyway What I want to know is
HOW DO THEY KNOW THE WHALE WAS COMFORTED

DID IT TELL THEM?

Thats all just so sad. The poor thing was so sick and lost....if they had done their best to move him into open water as soon as they spotted him, he'd have had a chance. They think he was "conforted"???? SIck jerks....the poor baby was swimming aimlessly in FRESH water! And he's a SALT water creature! Anything to boost the news-readership I guess.
