My husband and I are pretty much meetha lovers .. and every week we have a meetha dish made that lasts us the whole 7 days !
Our family favourite is Carrot halwa. Alternative choice is Kheer with carrots in it

Same here, except we dont like Pakistani meetha! Our weekly meetha is either cookies, cakes, brownies etc. Today Im making blueberry muffins

It's not necessarily a weekly thing for us....but in my family the more popular dessert is ice cream or frozen yogurt.
We'll also get cake and cookies as part of our grocery shopping...and that'll last throughout the week. My sister is more into making sweet treats, so when she comes for a visit, she's the one who bakes the brownies or she'll make truffles.
The more commonly made meetha in my home would have to be suji ka halwa or meethay chawal.

Our favorite meetha is usually european pastries. We usually go to european bakery and get a few for ourselves. I also love to eat cream puffs that are frozen that you thaw for a while before you eat.

my husband loves meetha after the meal so we buy chocolates!!
We made gulab jama last week.. we had them last for almost a week!
We also made jalebi.. it didn't turn out good so had to throw it away after couple of days!
I love ras malai so we make that very often but not on weekly basis.. carrot hawla is usually only during winter and we have frozen barfi from Pakistan that we add in there.. tastes GREAT!!!
the only thing we have never made is meethay chawal especially the multi color ones.. I wish I knew how to make them.. they looks sooo pretty!

I have to make meeta regularly for hubs, my regular and easy dish is kheer, ras malai, trifle, as much as i love zarda i have never got round to getting it right :(

I love rasmalai too .. but I just dont like the fact that it doesnt last for 7 days … we eat it off in a day 
…
So now i intentionally try to stick to meetha’s that will at least last us a good few days

Sorry jiia, but we always had the akhrot halwa from the mithai shop. It was always so perfect at the shop...just never made it at home!

ya it colour is white and yellow its also called SON APRI but i think its in hindi ,idont know if there is any other name of this sweet
