Imran Khan, Javed Miadad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Yunus… World cup win, Twenty20 world cup win, beating India in every major tournament, glory in sharjah… what a golden days of pakistan cricket.. and now… losing to india every single time, match fixing, shoeb akhtar, pakistan administration’s stupid behavior, terrorism, no matches in pakistan… oh god… this is so depressing.
I loved cricket so much and there is nothing to cheer about now. Its a weekend, i am having a beer and reading the fall of pakistan’s cricket era. This is really so frustrating. I can’t imagine that there is no one to look up in pakistan’s cricket now. In this country where the only thing to cheer about was cricket, where even if hundreds are dieing due to bomb blast, people still get smile on your face if pakistan beats india… And now the only reason that kept people happy and ‘live’ is also diminishing… The weekend, beer, loneliness and pakistan’s state of the cricket is making me feel more and more depressing. God!! Pls Help!!!

Bhaijan, aap tawba karain. Beer is haram. No matter how sad the cricket affairs are, our main duty is to worship Allah and to be dutiful to His commands. Cricket is just a game after all. We have bigger things to worry about, like life after death.

But seriously - this forum used to be flourished with news on cricket matches and sensational victories or defeats. And it appears to me that we are on the verge of losing that happiness. Half of the time, the discussion on this forum is about short-comings in pakistan cricket and cribbing about players. I'd be surprised if you are really enjoying that cribbing about our own players.
