These days, it is my favorite show on tv !
It started on bbcworld and now it is on bbc prime( dont know abt any other chanel). I like the hostes and her candid question to participants.

Apparantely the programme is edited so that if anyone answers back to Anne then those bits are cut out of the programme thus giving viewers the impression she's very intimidating.
Anyone remember that pathetic wink she used to do at the end of Watchdog?
Every show is edited.
i remember some ppl giving her some fit answers. But Most of the time ppl are not ready for such blunt questions. I know she is quite harsh sometimes
Ann Robinson is old news.
The show was a hit and went to US where it flopped terribly probably because the americans are too witty and openly mean and would get someone out first who had the strongest chance of winning.
That was the era when all RUDE hostesses were in... but like i said it was a year ago. And I might have liked a thing or two about her in the beginning but Rudeness is just not my cup of tea.
But of course it was her rudeness that sold the show.
Ya this was also my fav programme when i was in Pakistan but here i dont have bbc prime so i cant :( .

Yea, the show is def. old news here in US...it worked for a while but it lost its charm pretty quickly...it came about in the days of Who Wants To Be A Millionare but Anne couldnt keep up with Regis

that was the best part about her...the way she made fun of all the contestants, but when the contestants got smarter n answered her remarks with equal or more wit..it just wasnt the same
