The way of the preacher...

Every nation has had a prophet sent to them by Allah (SWT) yet few listened…Hazrat Nooh (AS) preached for 900 years yet he was not able to save all except his immediate family, Hazrat Daud (AS) preached to his nation, yet not a trace remains of the followers of Allah (SWT)'s book, the Zuboor. Hazrat Loot (AS) preached against Sodomy to his nation yet was unable to save them except his own family and even in that case his own wife was turned to a pillar of salt…So what do we say, that these prophets of Allah (SWT) were unsuccessful? No…Success lies in the hands of Allah (SWT) who makes examples of some through lessons of wrath or through lessons of blessings…But Allah (SWT) has kept with Him what He thinks is a trial of blessings and what He thinks is a trial of chastisement…So we come to us..The Ummah…Hazrat Musa (AS) once asked Allah (SWT) about the nations that will follow his ummah, the Jews…Allah (SWT) said that there will come a Ummah after Musa (AS)'s Ummah whose every member will do the work of prophets…Hazrat Musa (AS) begged that that Ummah be given to him, but Allah (SWT) refused saying you must take care of your own Ummah…To which Musa (AS) begged again to become a member of that Ummah and take away his prophethood to which Allah (SWT) once again refused Musa (AS), saying he must take care of his own Ummah…So now we come to us…The nation of prophets…As with all prophets, do you find an instance where (NauzooBillah) Hazrat Eesa (AS) questioned the teachings of John (AS) saying he was too radical? Or do you find an instance where Musa (AS) dissed the teachings of Hazrat Nooh (AS) saying his method of teaching was wrong? Or do we see the example of our Holy Prophet (SAW) saying that the way of preaching of Hazrat Eesa (AS) was wrong or that he made a bad impression? No…Just like the prophets who each had their own individual style of bringing the Message of Allah (SWT) to their people, so does every member of our Ummah have his or her own method of preaching…And only Allah (SWT) knows what is right and what is wrong…For you to judge according to your thinking, is meddling in Allah (SWT)'s affairs and He does not look kindly upon that…
