But I think the season premier from last night deserves it’s own thread!

It was! I wasn't expecting the group to get out that quickly. But it was so worth the wait, I love it. Seems like a really good season.

Yeah, i was really hoping they wouldn’t waste a lot of time on them trying to escape from Terminus. Super glad they nipped that in the bud early on :hehe:

And CAROL!!! What a character development!! From a house wife who was victim to domestic violence … to now (possibly) the new group leader? Maybe!?

Ohhh it was amazing!! So worth the wait.. hate to say but Carol was awesome. Cant wait for next weeks epsiode now!

I don’t know, @AndyPandy … I felt sympathetic towards Carol when Sophia went missing/ was “found”, but really disliked her during her time at the prison. She turned into such an evil person. I don’t see how anything that she did benefited the group.

And the whole “just look at the flowers” scene… COME ON! It’s her own fault. She created the monster! She had no right to do what she did!!! :frusty: (I’m trying as hard as I can to not mention spoilers in case anyone reading hasn’t seen it yet lol)

But now, yeah, I appreciate what she did. but I don’t like the fact that this entire time… SHE STILL HASN’T TOLD TYRESE WHAT SHE DID!!! Granted, that’s not a comfortable convo to have, but you can’t just make this guy think you’re all wonderful and not tell him what a terrible person you were/ are!

To be really honest, I didn’t like her when her daughter went missing. It was just really annoying to see. I sympathised with her, but it got old.

I honestly thought that the girl had killed them. But yes, I do agree. Carol fuelled the monster inside that girl, but the monster was already there, so i don’t blame her for it. I wonder what Tyese will do when he finds out?

I finally watched it just now, thought it was brilliant. I was hoping that this season wouldn't revolve around them staying in terminus and it's great to see that it won't be. The episode seemed more dark, alot more blood and gore. It's good to see everyone back together, I guess they'll eventually go looking for beth and find out who kidnapped her or maybe they'll stumble across her.

I doubt carol will be the new leader or even challenge it. She's done well to cement her place within the group after letting them down by killing some of the group in the prison, but I think rick will always be their leader.

Have you 2 forgotten carol already told him? I think it was in season 4 episode 14 where they are in the house chatting at night playing a board game where she admits killing karen and gives tyrese a gun to kill her if he wants to but he forgives her.

Yep MM, I don’t think tyrese killed that guy in the hut. He’s still alive and it’s gonna come back on him later on. You can bet on that.

I KNEW that's why there was so much tension between them. Its been far too long since the end of the last season .Time to go on a walking dead marathon again :p

I think those cannibalistic *******s at terminus are going to band up together and come back with a vengeance.

I think they will aswell, the leader was still alive and considering they kept doing a "then" and "now" flashback with them means they're gonna be around this season. It didn't look like there was many of them left, maybe 5-6. We all know rick is gonna own them all at the end of the day. I guess someone is gonna die this season as with all seasons. If daryll dies i'll stop watching..

If Daryl dies I think half of the Walking Dead fandom will start protesting. 95% of the girls I've met only watch it for Daryl. I like the friendship they've made between Rick and Daryl.

That scene infront of the troff, I knew it was too early for Glenn to die… but i flinched every time he almost swung! I would have been HIGHLY disappointed if Glenn died that early!

And OMG. When Rick ran to Judith… I got teary eyed!! SO emosh!! :crying: Brilliant acting!

The last scene when the girl yells “Not again!” completely broke my heart.

Glenn ain’t dying anytime soon, well not in the Tv series anyway. When they were hitting people with baseball bats and slicing their throats, in the comics this is where glenn died (not that I am reading the comics but I read this today in the paper).

Apparently Daryll doesn’t even exist in the walking dead comics.

I agree. The scene at the end with the “then” in the train, it was pretty emotional, dark and strong.
