**Does anyone actually ever get asked this during the rishta process? **
How do people find out or is the answer assumed from the potential’s behaviour on the day.. or their family background or lifestyle?
“I once saw her walk home with a boy and she was feeding him chocolate” - I actually once heard an auntie come out with this
Re: The virginity question..
Never. Its the risk that a man takes... or woman for that matter. :D

Re: The virginity question..
No one I know has been asked or has asked this question.
Re: The virginity question..
I am asked this question all the time....................
As I am extremely handsome so they ask the question like.."We do not doubt your sincerity but a lot of girl must have tried to woo you
as you are most handsome person we have ever seen.............:D
thats all they ask and a simple no as a answer works for me...........:D
Re: The virginity question..
It's assumed you're a virgin but if the family suspects you've been a busy girl/guy they probably wouldn't ask to see you as a potential rishta.
Re: The virginity question..
Well most of the time it is assumed that the potential prospects must be virgins but when in doubt, we don't consider the proposal.
Re: The virginity question..
never been asked directly by the parents but have been asked by most of the girls (more in a friendly way).
Re: The virginity question..

Re: The virginity question..
well when i've met potentials, it has popped a few times or so. i tend to just brush it under the carpet..
Re: The virginity question..
Haven’t you ever seen Dumbo?
Popped? Aren’t you a girl?
Have her eat a banana. That will tell you all you need to know.
Re: The virginity question..
Dumbo's method was the best. I think that's how I'll choose to traumatize my kids.
Re: The virginity question..
If the question is not being asked directly, then both parties might be trying to figure it out based on other “clues” such as relationships, certain habits, age, etc. Not that these things would guarantee a definite answer.
