You’re allowed to reply in your own threads only. This decision was taken after a **bunch of morons from a certain forum flooded Feedback with their supporters to try and make a point. *I’m not naming the Forum ***but I’m sure you can work out which forums have the most enthusiastic flooders.
:k:
that also explains why certain threads are locked without answering and certain gustaakhaan-e-rasool:saw: threads are open for ‘healthy discussion’ :flower1:
The point of the comment which you objected to was a valid answer to a query about why Feedback was restricted to topic-starters only. It was absolutely a correct answer. You took exception to it and now have opened a thread questioning a moderator's use of abbreviations (which could mean anything btw).
No problem with that but then if you are such a stickler for procedure then you should also have PM'd the mod concerned with your concerns (which you didn't) and if you are unhappy about the reply you should contact Admin according to the rules BEFORE bringing it up here.
Is that a professional enough answer for you?
Don't worry, I can get even more professional if you wish to carry on :)
In case you missed the sticky right at the top of this forum:
If a member has cause for complaint against another GUPSHUP user **or an action of a moderator*, then these should:
1 First be taken up with the relevant forum moderator via e-mail or PM.
2. If a member still feels that they have not received a satisfactory explanation the next step should be to contact Admin, again via e-mail or PM.
3. Hopefully this will resolve the matter. As a last resort if a member does post a complaint in Feedback, please be patient and wait for a response from either a Moderator or Admin. *
You didn't follow due process but still you received a response from Admin and the Moderator.
