Are you out of your mind? The US State Department is going to give him a colorectal exam the size of I-95, and they will find out his every view. I had a college room mate who went into the DEA, and they called me 20 years later to see if he smoked dope in College.
Moreover, "Diplomats" are paid to be "diplomatic". They are not paid to have opinions, they are paid to gather information, and to implement the policies of their government. I would trust CM to do this about as far as I could throw him. He may think he's smart, but I have never seen such blatant hypocracy in all my life. In case you have not noticed, post 9/11, what you say DOES matter, particualrly if you are dealing with sensitive information in the diplomatic corps.
He has a snowballs chance in hell of making the security cut given his views. Good Riddance...
