Sorry to say this. But, you have to take a hard look at the history. Use of force has been a part of Arab culture. Take a look at the spread of Islam, Prophet’s teaching are for a moral and just life, but the way the message spread is through conquest driven by moral righteousness and strength given by the new way of life. It did not spread with “apostles” and “monks” roaming around. Whether the message is engrained in their heart or not the method is engrained. Or some might say the method precedes the message as the method was always there in their DNA. Even religions that spread peacefully have become victims to power abuse, when religion and politics mingled (i.e. height of papal power in Rome).
Moderator, please note althought I am not a Muslim, I respect teaching of all enlightned men or women, the same way I respect teachings of Prophet’s. Therefore this is in not meant to offend teachings of Prophet. Mere a historical prospective.
