If I remember right, Akbar was fidaa on daughter of Gulbadan Begum who was married to Bairam Khan, and son of these two was famous Abdul Rheem Khan-e-Khana, who wrote Dohas in Braj, one of the basic hindi text in schoolbooks today:)

These all people have major impact on Akbar’s life. Akbar’s relationship with Rajputs may also be connected with the relationship of Humayun with Rajputs. Who was the Rajput woman who made Humayun her Rakhi bund bhai?
