Gulbadan begum wrote ‘Humayon Nama’ not as an independent writer, but as a sister hiding all the vices of Humayun. Although she mentioned Hameeda Begum in her incomplete book, but I didn’t find her mentioning Humayun’s interest in women.
One more thing Hameeda Begum didn’t seem to be** her ** first wife, because how could he be single until 33 years, when he met Hameeda Bano. But again Akbar is his eldest son (crown prince), so that made the theory of his extra interest in women some what doubtful.
