Been quite a while using all those hotkeys.

Window Key + F = Search Window

Not that i know of. I think theres an option somewhere that you can make your own HotKeys. Not sure. Apart from that, if you're using Win 98 still then everytime you need to restart your computer, hold down the shift key while clicking on OK to restart. That way the whole computer won't restart. Only window will restart.

Whenever you enter a CD ROM and dont want it to Autoplay, hold down the Shift key while the CD is still going in. And keep the shift key depressed for a while till the CD loads succesfully. If you do this correctly, the CD's autoplay feature will not activate.
