I visit this forum on a regular basis as a source of inspiration and advice (even tough the advice might be for someone else).
I was reading the “Help Plz! whoz better for wedding makeup Rukaiya or Anam?”-thread and saw that April87 had given a Pakistani make-up artist a bad reviews, now instead of just letting it go the artist or her friend (who knows who’s behind the profile) go’s on to write the reviewers name, and what not and even going to the extend of write that the reviewer had a ELAN copy make for her ‘special day’ like seriously?!
It’s not the first time I’ve seen a vendor act like that on this forum, and the sad thing is that these vendors are always Pakistani and they are not afraid of getting down and dirty they have no respect for anything, what kind of person puts someone out there by name? you have a business so you have CHOSEN to put your self out there deal with it, but at least respect your costumer, not once do these people think that they might have done something wrong.
The sad part is that the vendor does not even hesitate to talk crap about her costumer, at the end of the day that costumer paid you to do YOUR job, not so you could tell some random person all about that costumer, her name and what not!
I have experienced with goray vendors that if you give them a bad review they contact you directly, apologize and give a gift-card or a discount on your next trip there and tell you that they hope to see you again and hope that they can give you a better experience the next time. Whereas Pakistani vendors just get down and dirty! Disgusting!
WOW! Just WOW! Let’s say this is just a friend of Anam, then Anam has given out all of this information to a client of hers?
I would never book someone who would give out my personal information to random people, yuck!
Well yes, i agree that the vendor needs to be very careful and make sure that the customer is satisfied. However sometimes or maybe i should say that often the customers can get very unrealistic too, it's like they had paid for what is worth say $50 but in the end they had complain when it doesnt turn out to be something worth $100. Now just because we are buying somebody's services, it doesnt mean we have the right to bezitify them fazool mein hi. There has to be a balance where the vendor is making sure that they are providing what they were paid for and the customer should give them the respect and appreciation they deserve.

I absolutely agree with your post beautifulsunshine. I could not believe what I was reading ( alinab). That was down right personal and threatening.
Anam and her friends need to calm down and learn to take criticism
I don't know if anyone of you know this but recently when Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia sister complained about Kingfisher Airlines on Twitter, Vijay Mallaya personally apologized to her also via twitter. I mean Vijay Mallya is a billionaire and Ayesha Takia sister well is only known as Ayesh Takia's sister.
Gosh is there a way I can complain about alinab's post to the moderators??? I mean this has got me bloody furious.

i was talking in general not about some specific incident that perhaps happened on this forum, i m not aware of it :).
Quite frankly alinab's actions speak poorly of her and her friend Anam and her way of defending her friend is actually going to do more harm than good for Anam's business.
An educated consumer will read what alinab wrote and NOT want to go to Anam for fear that not only is there a risk of poor services, but then to also risk being insulted on a public forum and have your personal information revealed here.

It doesn't matter how good Anam is or how great her prices might be when it comes to make-up. According to alinab herself, she is a client of Anam's. And by alinab coming here and admitting that Anam discussed details of one of her OTHER clients with alinab would be enough for me to NEVER even consider going to her. And then to receive direct threats by Anam's other clients for posting bad reviews is beyond ridiculous! But then again, alinab wouldn't be threatening anyone if Anam is remained professional and not shared details of 1 client with another.
Does ANY woman want to go to someone for make-up/hair who is known for sharing details about her clients with OTHER clients?
what the hell?! i am so turned off my this this anam artist it not even funny. what kind of person says they'll post your pics if you don't shut up or makes comments about your dress being fake or not..
Relax girls. No one is being nasty here. this was actually the case in this case where everything was made up on falsehood. So if something is a lie and a person is lying, someone who was THERE in the situation, where she blamed me for coming without an appointment whereas I had an appointment and called me the 'friend' favoured just because I got my makeup spoilt by somewhere else which was not true. I did have my makeup spoilt by another artist at another salon but I took my sister's place at anams and instead my sister got her makeup done at the end when all her clients were gone. So if someone is involving me in a false story, I have a right to set it straight. And those who were not there shouldn't be judging anyone. This girl is actually going crazy now that she is caught and is messaging everyone around to stand up for her. It's a case of sour grapes. I'm sure she would want this to end here aswell as she has done enough bezati and gotten enough aswell. If you decide to make up lies then you should face them yourself. And I wasn't disclosed any detail, I knew the outfit was a copy the girl said it herself, and also when she was refused dupatta setting being there it was obvious she was one of those who act smart and booked evening makeup instead of engagement because they know the makeup artist will not make them look like crap. As far as her name is concerned I did know who she was as I have lots of mutual friends with her. And all Anam had to say to me about this situation is that she is just someone who kept messaging her to want to work with her and because Anam didn't reply with a no or a sorry, being polite she just didnt say anything, the girl went psycho. I don't think she has time enough to personally come on a forum and advertise herself or indulge in convos based on lies. Also if you see her profile and her posts, there are just 3-4 saying the same thing which shows it is a setup to degrade someone without a reason and she joined gs just a day or two back to do it.

this kind of publicity is definitely bad publicity......too bad for those supporting this Anam person.
the initial post defaming Anam was bad enough with the abusive language.......had it been left alone most readers would have taken it with a grain of salt or as an isolated incident but with the even more threatening and abusive response defending the MUA you can see that there are obviously bigger issues at play....
Posting someone’s name on a public forum is about as nasty as it gets. I would suggest you go back and edit your post and think long and hard about how childish and unprofessional your behaviour is. Whether you’re Anum or Anum’s friend or client, your behaviour is petty and immature.
No one disagreed with your right to present your POV on Anum and compliment her services. You could have shown class and tact in your own review, but you got personal and that’s not right. So before complaining about how rude anyone else has been, you might want to reflect on your own behaviour first.

Well all my cousins and my one sister took makeup classes from anam..I know she is good..well that's what my cousins and sister say..
But if someone is not happy with her why do you have to go all the way to insult that person? You said your self that 40000 + people likes her ..ok so jahan itne log like kArte hain agar aik do ne dislike Kai to Kia farak parta hai ?
I removed her name but she was the one to take names first, I admit I didnt mean to be threatening, didn't realise it in my tone but I was so angry as I am being dragged into something which is a lie so im sorry for that . Removed the parts from my posts that might have seemed threatening but I will standup for the truth because I was there.
Kinzz I absolutely agree with you that she is good at her work and nothing can bring her down but when you know something is a lie and it involves you you have to standup for it, and I would have remained shut had I not been dragged into it as the person who was favoured out of appointment, it's all a lie, infact I have the appointment reciept with me. I got a bit to furious and might have said stuff I should'nt have which I'm sorry for if it was distasteful but that still doesnt give anyone a right to post a big lie on a public forum.
