I received this email about comparing the president of two neighboring countries… enjoy/discuss/criticise/bash ![]()
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
By the way… is this really Pakistani presidential place (rather palace) ??? ![]()
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
^ u posted it, u must be knowing it ![]()
well some say yes, some say no. i gonna go with yes. akhir 8 saal hakomet ki hai, abb itna bhi haq nahi kia ghreeb awam ka paisa aisay fazool decor pay lageya ![]()
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
^ i don’t think he built that place… most probably its been like that for past presidents as well.
but like kaptaan sahib said, it does look like a palace. ![]()
btw that comparison is not quite fair. Pictures taken at different occasions and quite unrelated events can’t be compared.
p.s. who’s the blond in the first pic with musharraf and his wife? ![]()
p.s.2: no i’m not interested in the blond, i want to know whether its a paki function (i.e. you can see such spectacles in pakistan now) or somewhere outside?

Probably at a desi wedding where he was invited too.

I agree, chances are past presidents enjoyed similar 'decor'/'lush' house.

Some of them are not good comparison, esp one showing Ahmedinejad praying on side of road/sitting in mosque
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Seems like it is president house:
![]()
Chief of the US Central Command Gen. John Abizaid meets President Gen. Pervez Musharraf at President House in Islamabad Monday.
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)

- kisi ko pata hi nahi keh yeh desi palace ki pics hain bhi ya nahi
- captain2 khud hi baghair ref. ki post post kar raha hay pata nahi captain1 aa kar iss post ko delete karta bhi hay ya nahi.
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
^ bhai mere… look at post#7, I tried to find a “reference” and found one pic in a news article which shows similar decor… so unless you can prove it wrong it will stay “correct” depiction of Pakistan President house ![]()
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Some of these pics, or very similar pics were circulating the internet a few months ago - apparently from inside the newly decorated Prime Minister House. They can as easily be the President's house in Islamabad. Its no secret that Pakistan's rulers live extravagant life-styles in lush tax-payers paid luxuries, completely disconnected from the economic disaster our country is generally under.
Pics from Ahmedijenad are more propaganda type. The second picture where he is refusing to shake hands of the lady is perfectly fine (there are many muslim men who do not shake hands of na-mehram women) but it is extremely embarassing, because these things should be communicated in advance so people don't push their hands forward in the first place.
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Too much gold in the decor, it kills it ![]()

Could very well be, just like the pics of Saddam Hussein during Gulf War I.

Very true. They claim to know what their "awam" is thinking/going-thru but they have really no clue about it.
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Iranian president is more of a moderate and down to earth man than pakistani politicians will ever be!
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Khilafaat Vs Maloookiyaat !
Khilafat kahaN hai bhai? :)
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
Khilafat kahaN hai bhai? :)
apparently that doesn't matter as long as the malookiat part is true.
Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
**is that musharraf’s house? omg ![]()

Re: The two presidents (neighbor countries)
There is a very old saying that
"GANDHI ko ghareeb rakhney k leyee (referring to Gandhi's cloths) hundustani qoom ko boaht paisa kharch kerna parhta tha"
:)
