The transformation of right wing mind-set in the US

First it was disbelief. Snickers of doubt that the pics are fake.

Then it was dismay and horror. A few bad apples, perhaps?

Now its an outrage against the outrage. Those Iraqis deserved it. They are not there for “traffic violations”. They should be humiliated. These pics should not be published. Its all a media conspiracy now.

Is there no sense of morality left in these rightwingers? If this war had been waged in the command of a Democratic President, would this Republican Senator have said the same thing, as he said in Senate hearings today?

They will invade, occupy and impose thier will as long as they are making dollars and securing there intrests no matter what!

The irony is that the conservative (or rightwing) elements of any collective group (be it religous, government, etc) spend more time preaching morality than they do practicing it. A lot of the time their version of morality flies in the face and hinders the morals and values of the group that does not follow in their (version of) righteousness. Watch and listen to Sean Hannity on Fox News, who more than any one person (including Rush Limbaugh or Pat Robertson), has casued me to have no patience or sympathy for the right wing because of his lack of morals in defining morality.

Those virulent right wingers have no concept of morality. They're too damn stupid to be able to form coherent arguments supporting their positions, and often their positions cannot be supported by fact, so they resort to medieval claims of moral superiority. What we do is moral, what people we don't like do is immoral.. that's how it goes for them. Just watch how often they contradict themselves and it'll be clear.
