i baked caramel cake,left it to cool over night and now it wudnt come out of the dish.
caramel on the bottom and baked with cake batter on top.the last few times it has turned out fine but this time the stupid cake wudnt come out .I cant even use a spatula to pull it out.I even left the dish flipped which didnt do much help.
any ideas what i can do with it and any ideas why is it happening apart from karma ***** slapping me
also in effort to get it out i damaged a part of it but since its huge ,i can cut it off.
Whenever I've baked caramel cake in the past with caramel at the bottom, I've always left it in the pan overnight but sometimes the caramel gets so hard that it gets stuck to the pan... what I do is take a shallow pan with hot water and immerse the bottom of the cake pan in it... this way the caramel melts, and the cake comes out just fine...
Perhaps its better to just cut it into smaller chunks and pull them out of the cake tin one by one?
.. you must take the cake out after a while and let it cool on the wired rack …
