AIRPORT are STRANGE.
They are already filled to nearly the top with hot water b4 u use them,
They have a mind of their own and flush themselves without warning.
The flush is upside down, the water rises from the bottom (no pun intended!) up.

Lolz.. that is not a flush but a subsitute for the lota...lol... you will find that sort of toilet everywhere in middle east.

Now i'm intrigued, if it was a substitute for a lota, why do they have those handheld bidets.
I don't understand why they r designed like this. Please can someone explain the logic?
And also, what if a FAT person were to use them, surely they would b in direct contact with it - yuck!

I am surprised that no one from gupshup can shed any light on this strange phenomenon, i thought we had some cleverclogs amongst us.
I think they are really aliens hired by the dubai government.
Maybe you didnt notice, there are many more STRANGE and WEIRD things about that place (including the inhabitants), not just the airport toilets. Those other strange things make the weirdness of airport toilets looks insignificant.
Im glad that you returned with your own brain still in place. Do not risk re-visiting, though.

Actually there was a similar post quite some time ago… (I’m a quiet observer of gup ahem) ppl like Cat woman and others shared their ‘all over the world’ experiences with the ‘darn atak-matak utilities’ but that thread must be fossilized by now

The observation is quite rite however the rush at the airport and not enough facilities are also the reason. The new Emirates Airline dedicated terminal is ready and probably it will make a difference on rush and number of passengers are tranferred to new place.
