With all that’s going on; the madness of suicide attacks and social unrest and indiscriminate killings by fanatics, no wonder we’re at our worst. Adding to that is the perpetual political disharmony and social division in the face of grave circumstances. Are the stories of unity and discipline from 1965 myths? Will there ever be such unity when facing a common open enemy?
So where do we really stand? We have a grave menace within, which strikes without warning and takes away innocent lives, and its spreading.

What can be done?
The pro-mullahs say impose shariah: which version? and who’ll lead?
The seculars want nothing but peace and want the extremists eliminated: how? what’s the best way to do it, while also keeping the super powers away? If there is any way at all? Or is it just a matter of time…?
The American's do not have the guts to attack Iran whom they have been threatening for many years, so I don't believe they will ever do anything offensive in Pakistan. You don't attack a country you are also giving hundreds of millions of aid every month - even now.
The unity was seen in recent past when teh whole nation stood behind CJ against the illegal removal by teh dictator… every facet of society, rich or poor, have and have-nots backed for a cause.. one of the great moments in Pak history :k:

How did u figure that out? Only a person living under a rock could be oblivious to the judicial crisis in Pakistan. I am very interested to know how you reached those conclusions.
