Every day there is a new report, every darn report has a twist to information. Why can’t Indian government itself provide the details of “what actually happened” or is that they are still “investigating”?
Every report has different name of the terrorist caught alive:
i) Ajmal Amir Kasab ii) Amir Ajmal Kasav iii) Ajam Amir Qasar iv) Mohammad Ajmal Kasab tired of typing names
Ajmal Amir (or whoever) was petty thief
Ajmal Amir was religious Muslim
They had beer before starting the operation
He wanted to start his own gang (note he was “religious Muslim”)
He went to Rawalpindi to buy arms, no no, he went to Lahore to buy arms
May be he did show them the boat/gps/satellite phone but aren’t the names of Lashkar contacts already given to Pakistan? or is it still pending “verification”?
My point is that India should’ve waited for any conclusion before pointing to Pakistan? The blame-at-first shot and these so called ‘reports’ just throw any credibility aside and provide fuel to conspiracy theories.
^^ and now according to Times of India, the guy demands to have meat everyday (desperate effort to prove him non-hindu), wants to meet Amitabh Bachan, etc.
He has tea and five pieces of bread in breakfast, 5 Rotis in lunch and so it goes on.
It definitely is getting better and better each passing day.
I would've believed you if things had settled down after lets say 3-4 days but things are still being shuttled from one to the other. In case you remember the terrorists were reported to have checked in the hotel days/weeks/months before in the hotel with fake-ids (room 630) and had many visitors, ammunition was piled up in that room but later on it was reported that non of the terrorists ever checked in. I am not sure what the final 'conclusion' is on that one, do you know?
Hilarious and Pathetic at the same time.
I don't think we match up with Indian media though.
Re: The things I find ‘confusing’ in the so-called investigations/reports
Finally one report that sets many facts correctly (reported by Wahid Doyum), terrorist caught’s parents home is located. Terrorist’s correct name is “Ajmal Ameer Kasab”.
More details are emerging … it was a local journalist working for british newspaper who broke this story …
Details from the report
The authorities may now attempt to deny that Ajmal’s parents live in Faridkot, but, according to some locals, they have been there for some 20 years. But by the end of our visit, a crucial piece of evidence had been gained. The Observer has managed to obtain an electoral roll for Faridkot, which falls under union council number 5, tehsil (area) Depalpur, district Okara. The list of 478 registered voters shows a ‘Mohammed Amir’, married to Noor Elahi, living in Faridkot. Amir’s national identity card number is given as 3530121767339, and Noor’s is 3530157035058.
That appears to be the last piece of the jigsaw. A man called Amir and his wife, Noor, do live in Faridkot, official records show. They have a son called Ajmal.

Bro u will keep on hearing contradictory stuff from indian media every single day and i think we should get used to of it.
remember samjhota express incident???
An Observer investigation has established that the lone surviving gunman caught by Indian police during last week’s terrorist attacks on Mumbai came from a village in the Okara district of the Pakistani Punjab.
Ajmal Amir Kasab, interrogated in custody after last month’s attacks, which killed 163 people, reportedly told Indian security officials that he came from a place called Faridkot in the Punjab province. His father was named as Mohammed Amir, married to a woman named Noor. During the past week, Pakistani sources have cast doubt on the authenticity of the leaked information, which has had a predictably explosive impact on relations between the two countries.

This is from British media !!!!!!!! infact it seems to a local journalist reporting for different media houses .... no Indian connection !!!!!!!
“There’s no doubt” that the deadly attack on India’s financial capital last month was planned inside Pakistan, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told CNN on Sunday.
Her comments to CNN’s “Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer” were the most definitive made by a top-ranking U.S. official regarding Pakistan’s connection to the November 26-29 attack on Mumbai, in which more than 170 were killed and hundreds of others were wounded.
