and thank GOD for that! its so hot out here.. i just cannot even start to explain!!! I have lived in this country all my life but this year has been a torture seriously! its not only hot... its dry and humid.. u literally feel the hot air touching your whole body... and sometimes its so difficult to breath from the nose. but thats the price u pay for living in a place like this and I love livin here and wudnt go trade my space with anyone! :)

The kind of mall (money) they pay for the kind of skills I have I am thinking to move there. I see lots of ads in Online Gulf News and Online Kahleej Times where for salary they say that money is no object for my kind of skills.:)

oh thatll be a great idea... but yea, the condition is, if u have to live in Dubai(not other emirates, some are comparatively cheaper or expensive) you must earn alot of money and be able to save in the end too... cus ppl living here in Dubai spend more than half of their salary on house rents... the rent price is sky rocketing really, in an almost illegal way I feel cus its not like the supply is less and demand is more.. they r building new buildings every single day. anyway, i think having kids and living in dubai, you should not go for an offer less than minimum Dhs 20 - 25,000 i guess... good luck!

Umer its 19 C here and its raining some days .. i cannot imagine 50 , if it gets near 30 C I am half dead!
İts 32C here and i just saw warning on TV not to take babies out during day time

Hey same here!! i feel suffocation whenever i go out and it seems i am in a heater or furnace or something whenever i am walking even just to the car or something. Even though it is like this, i will never hate Dubai and go somewhere else, I L O V E DUBAI!!!

Yeah Aisha ,we are blessed to have AC 'S etc but thinking about working condition of labour class there give me chills,once i was travelling somewhere in Dubai during peek hot hrs and saw one worker was resting in open construction site and having hot brick under his head as pillow :sad:

it also goes to 50 in riyadh quite often, they just done publish it cuz then theyd have to give laborers a day off

yeah.. this place is my world. with no offense to anyone please, i am saffocated in pak.. u cant b urself, u cant b independent, there are only certain places where you can wear jeans etc. i am not very open or bold in my dressing but i do like wearing jeans and this u cant enjoy wearing in pak all the time u know plus u never get the freedom to do stuff alone. in dubai i m free, i walk on my own, no one to harm me... its just beautiful i tell u. here ppl respect ur privacy and dont just come on ur door unannounced without asking you(typical paki way). so much to love!!!

Yes!! No matter how much i love lahore i never enjoy it properly because i cannot go alone and definitely not with my cousins and even though i wear abaya i cannot wear jeans because once i wore it and went to fortress and it was really windy and my abaya was flying all over the place and the guys were looking at me and my mom who was with me got soo angry that you know umm she felt i was being in a way exposed. I feel secure in Dubai and i can do things on my own and the Malls are relatively safer and Dubai is beautiful!! So many things to do. Oh yeah i love the privacy although where i live it does not happen a lot because we are all one loving community and members. I have lots and lots and lots of pakistanis living close to my house!! We are all one big mohallah dari hehe
