BTW, I am also travelling in taxis nowadays. magar aap ki stories tow, mashallah jee .
I don’t feel like travelling in buses anymore and my people for some wierd reason have an ingrained fear …that they don’t want me driving a car in Karachi. My eyes are all set on the Hyundai 's latest, small one :love: lets see! (just that its expensive for those of us belonging to the KKK group :–D )

yes i think if u dont have a car then travelling on a cab is the way to go. u shud convince ur ppl abt the car though

Dunno, people are still apprehensive about girls travelling in taxis here. As Seema said, for many bus and rikshaw is still far more secure.

NAh, I don’t need to convince my ppl, all I need to say is ‘yes’ to my cousin’s proposal and I 'll get the car (emotional blackmailing 
) or else pull my own money saved for the rainy days :o . I will but maybe in a month or two, right now I am not in a mood to.

I don’t think rickshaw or bus is any more secure. I mean, I would NOT jump out of a moving rickshaw, and you can get harrassed more on a bus than a cab.

Ya so true but nowadays buses are so good. Haven't traveled in ages, don't go out much but heard that those green ones are cool. Rikhaw wala kaisay harass karay ga, awal tow there is so much noise around kay he won't be able to ask you all those questions that a regular taxi wala asks from you and then he would be sitting in the front and you behind those bars. :-D

Green buses are sposed to be quite cool, havent travelled in em though. And rikshaw wala ye kar sakta hay na k kisi sunsaan ilaqay mein le jaye. us case mein i was saying abt the jumping thing

ladies - if you even jumped out of a rickshaw - you would be DEAD either by the impact or some other vehicle smashing you. - do you know the rickshaw if hit by a car or small truck would be crushed entirely - very very unsafe
