I was watching this documentary](http://www.cbc.ca/doczone/episodes/flying-solo) the other day and in it, somebody brought up the concept of the Swedish Single Ring. Based on what’s written about it in the article and blog below:
a. Do you think that it’s a good idea for a single person to wear one?
I did not watch the doc. Am I the only one that sees this as an opportunity to make a profit? They have a similar concept such as "right hand rings" which signify women empowerment...that she can buy her own rock and doesn't need a man for that. Not that I'm against independence...I'm just not bowled over by the swedish single ring. A swedish massage sounds better, lol.
This was such a big deal like, 5, 6 years ago. All the celebs (including Beyonce) wore a ring on their right ring finger, to symbolize they are single and are proud of it. Nothing innovative or Swedish about. It died right around all these celebs started getting married and having babies :halo:
It will be big hit in China... 11th Nov was 'Singles Day' there and people bought $8 billion USD worth of goods. Biggest on-line retailer in China "Ali Baba" reported around 230 million shipments.
