I specifically remember this series back in 1997(I think). West-Indies were touring Pakistan, Lara had just crashed waqar for two fours and then a couple in the first 3 balls of the over. And then came the trademark inswinging yorker, I think I've never seen such an unplayable ball, Lara hadn't either as he lay splat on the ground.
Can anybody find that picture? Lara lying flat on the ground and the stumps all over the place?

This was in the 1997-98 WI tour of Pakistan. 2nd Test match played out in Rawalpindi when Waqar bowled that spectacular delivery.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture because very little of the photos exist from anywhere before 1999.
armughal bhaijan, nobody is forgetting the real man but if you see above, the thread is to specifically post pics of the W's. We can also have an open thread for all Pak speedsters or maybe just Imran or you could continue to post them here.

While we at it, lets not forget the pioneer, Sarfraz Nawaz.
When an old ball swings sharply, and in the opposite direction to that achieved by conventional swing, it is called reverse swing.
Pioneered by Sarfraz Nawaz of Pakistan in the '70s, it was not until the early '90s that the rest of the world started to understand this phenomenon.
Sarfraz Nawaz taught Imran Khan and Imran Khan taught Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.
