Help, I am very confused.
I went to Jumma from work with another guy also a Muslim. This guy is against all Mullahs. So I asked him why and he gave the normal reasons that you hear. However one of the reasons that he gave was that Mullahs say that it is OK and perfectly within Islam to sleep with your female servants/slaves etc… Surely this cant be true, infact I have never heard of this, so have any of you guys/girls heard this from any mullah’s you have been speaking to???
Re: the status of women slaves/servants in Islam
Servants are different to slaves.
Re: the status of women slaves/servants in Islam
ok so give answers to both cases then
Re: the status of women slaves/servants in Islam
Yeah the guy is right.
In the olden days people use to have slaves, before Islam slaves were treated like shiit and the female slaves were their masters concubines, but Islam improved their status considerably with strict rules about how they should be treated and encouraged the freeing of slaves but it didn’t abolish slavery altogether and men were still allowed to have sex with their female servants/concubines.
Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) had a concubine named Maria and he even had a son from her called Abraham.
Having sex with female servants (the cleaning ‘Maasi’ in Pakistan) however is not allowed.

Rizwan show these verses to your friend, it's not the Mullah's speaking from their ownselves it's Allah who says it, if he doesn't agree with the Koran then he's become a Kaafir.
Koran 023.005 *
**YUSUFALI:* Who abstain from sex,
PICKTHAL: And who guard their modesty -
SHAKIR: And who guard their private parts,
Koran 023.006 *
**YUSUFALI:* Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,
PICKTHAL: Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy,
SHAKIR: Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable,
