Isn’t it basically a Samsung phone with updates through the carriers? Even though I like the size of my Note, it still has a lot of junk AT&T apps (the wifi smart assistant even screwed up the WiFi connection at work!) that I have to disable each time that there is an update. Even though I have the 4.1.2 update, it still isn’t the latest JB update. This phone is less than an year old and with apple, I would definitely be receiving all their updates as even iPhone 4 got the iOS 7 update. This fragmentation of Android is also the reason that Android is so susceptible to malware compared to other OS’es.

This S4 in the Google play store is from Google so no carrier in the middle. Its just like a nexus but better…
