The simple things in life that make you happy

This is such a great thread!

Mine are:

• looking through old photo albums and reminiscing …

• hearing a song that brings back good memories attached to it!

• long hot showers

• hearing my parents tell me that they are proud of me and I should never worry about anything

• watching my baby brother grow up

• getting caught up with a good tv show

• the look on my fiance’s face when he picks me up and I am very dressed up

• painting: it’s the only time when I forget about everything going on around me. I’m in the zone..

• finding an amazing deal while shopping

• a random warm day when it is supposed to be the dead of winter

• that first sip of ice cold sprite: so refreshing!

• reading a long email from a friend

• when my fiance says “i love you”

• the satisfaction I get when I am able to utilize my education to help my loved ones

• spending quality time with my best friends: talking about anything, everything, and nothing

• wearing pajamas fresh from the dryer

• discovering an amazing/must-have makeup item

• sitting with my nani and listening to stories about her life

• my dad’s hugs

• dancing with my fiance

• getting into bed after a long day

• decorating my apartment

• accomplishing personal goals I set for myself

• receiving an instant message from a cousin who lives in Pakistan

• when someone gives up their seat to me on the subway - shows me that there are still considerate and nice people out there!!

• ordering a fancy dessert that tastes as amazing as it looks

• reading a good book (i also have a tendency to not be able to put down a good book till it’s done!!!)

• Finding something to wear that you had totally forgotten about.

• Finding money you didn’t knew you had in your pants or purse or jacket pocket

I agree wholeheartedly with ur list! so sweet
