This was hottest news last evening, during an ARD protest Sherry Rehman while standing on a truck filled with her colleagus fainted. Was taken to Ziauddin Hospital, all major tests were performed, apparently she’s well, but it’s being said that she was hit on the neck by someone/something.
Who/How/Why? Plus she was surrounded by her partyfolk, and why and how would any attacker target her only, and that too leaving no trace, without the crowd noticing anything. Why was she the only one who noticed a woman climbing and hitting her? Or is a simple fainting incident being exploited?
KARACHI, Feb 14: The Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Sherry Rehman, was hospitalised on Wednesday after she fell unconscious during the rally staged by the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy to protest against the alleged rigging in the by-election.
After delivering her speech, Ms Rehman was standing with other party leaders on a truck, which was loaded with workers. During the speech of PPP leader Raza Rabbani, she collapsed and fainted. She was immediately taken to hospital.
PPP leaders Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Qaim Ali Shah, Raza Rabbani, Rashid Rabbani, Waqar Mehdi rushed to the hospital when the rally ended to inquire about her condition.
Party leaders quoting Ms Rehman, said a woman, who had climbed on the truck, poked her with a pointed object after which she fainted. A PPP spokesman said doctors performed various tests including CT scan and advised her bed rest.
I concur with all your points (no trace, being surrounded b her own supporters, no one else noticing anyone getting a stranger next to her, and add one more..
If someone wanted her to faint, would they not do it BEFORE she spoke rather than after?
i dont think she was hurt by someone, either she just fainted due to her excellent health or it was just another episode of attention seeking. "look BB i was fainted and attacked by ISI when i was protesting for you...." or when crowded by own party folks being a number just didnt do well in papers... lets get faint.
