You just can’t seem to get rid of both set of brothers in Pakistan, no matter how much the public is disgusted by them and how desperately they want to see the end of them. Why is that?
Akmal Jr is not so much an issue as a batsman, but what I don’t understand is that why is it that every time Akmal Snr gets kicked out for his atrocious keeping, why his younger brother has to take over his role? Why on earth can’t you replace Kamran Akmal with a proper professional wicket keeper instead of his brother?
If it is not Umar Akmal, then their third brother is keeping for Pakistan. Great. Is is written somewhere PCB’s constitution that only an Akmal can keep wickets for Pakistan? It is because of this flip flopping between Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal for wicket keeping position, Pakistan couldn’t find a professional wicket keeper as a permanent replacement of that goof.
Moral of the rant: You simply cannot get rid of Akmal brothers no matter how bad they are and how much the awaam hates them. Therefore they are the Sharif brothers of Cricket.
