…I was reading Shakespeare’s Henry V for school, and I was amazed! The play was excellent, Henry’s use of sattire was awesome! And the last scene, my Prof. thinks its the sexiest scene in literature and it has no dirty words…
Muniya are you sure your prof.didnt say SEXISTIEST & NOT sexiest.i think he meant male chavenistic attitude ,didnt he ???
Vicky ,I had Julies Caeser in o level and"caeser beware of ides of March -soothsayer was in it .Macbeth,Cleopatra , were good too.Why do they make us read them,no one talks like that & neither it makes any sense to anyone ???The brit make life complicated just as there draconian royal enterage
: :)
When was i for real?
I am myself a dream :)
I always see you
watching me tenderly :)
SHE (my prof is a female) did say sexiest…
I really dont think there is anything male sch. about that particular scene … the play maybe.. can be argued but def. not the last scene…its a courtship scene..unless ofcourse you can back your statement.
The least u could do for the non-Shakespearean fans is to inform them at least what happens in the last scene of Henry V .. to u know,
promote .. his play more.
So what does happen in that scene?
Btw, i found Jane Eyre to be very romantic.
In more than 1 scene..
eg, there r certain parts in the novel where simply the outdoor scenery is being described only -- those in particular, i found quite, well, charming.
