The Self-Made sects of Islam
Sects are cool. You do need to filter out some Muslims for hell as well as for paradise. BTW, The 72 sects for hell and 1 for paradise ratio will maintain Jannah as an elite club with its Member Only Policy.

Sects are cool but forbidden in Islam.

Anyone who claims he is only a Muslim and not following any sect is a Liar.
He might be a lier. But he is going according to the Quran.

These are my old skool beliefs, I have read much on different faiths ect and spirituality in all sorts of religions and have concluded that there is no religion-juts you, and a divine spirit and well we gotta try and bridge the gap.

Apologize for the rigidity of my posts prior to this. I have escaped the confines of organized faith and freed my soul in accordance with the laws of the ancient tribes.

**Every Sect says they are following Al-Quran. Have you seen any Muslim sects that says otherwise?

Sects that claim they are not following any sects are still following their teacher/ulama/scholar. They Only boast of not following anyone/any sect but they are still following someone.

Sects are unavoidable part of Islam and it is accepted . Holy prophet says "My Nation will be divided into 73 sect and 72 will be in hell while only one of them will be on the true path and in jannah"

See. Even Prophet says there is One sect that is following him **

Accepted by whom?? the same people who helped create these sects?

[6:159] Surely they who divided their religion into parts and became sects, you have no concern with them; their affair is only with Allah, then He will inform them of what they did.

PakistaniAbroad: Just tell me in the light of this verse how sectarianism is "acceptable"?

Have you ever seen a robber who says that he robs? Ahmedis say that they believe in the Quran, yet they consider Ghulam Ahmed Qadiya to be the last Messenger of Allah. Just saying that we are following the Quran doesn't mean that someone actually follows it. The facts that a person says that he belongs to a sect itself indicates that the person is not following the Quran.

Atleast they don't divide Islam by saying that they belong to different sects.

And that one sect is the one who goes according to the Quran and doesn't call itself a sect. That one sect is the group of people who say that they dont belong to any sect. That one sect is a group of ppl who call themselves nothing but, "Muslims".

But he never asked the Muslims to be divided into sects.

The prophet predicted the emergence of seventy-three sects. He did not say that Muslims should be active in dividing themselves into sects.

Oh but he did. If you look at the Hadith closely, The holy Prophet say :'One of the Sect(from 73) will be in Paradise while all the rest will be in Hell'

It is not as simple as that my friend. Yes, they self-righteously say they do not divide Islam but it is very apparent that they are one of them .

I guess for lack of better word I use the word accepted. A better word would perhaps be Unavoidable.

I don't know whether they say it self-righteously or not. But whatever the case, they say something every Muslim is supposed to say. By saying that they belong to no sect they are going according to the Quran, and not dividing the religion. But as I said before, just by saying that they don't belong to any sect doesn't necessarily mean that they don't belong to any sect. Surely, Allah knows their true intentions.

dear brother,

"the believers are but a single brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may recieve mercy." [49:10]

the enforcement of muslim brotherhood is the greatest social ideal of islam.

"o mankind we created you from a single (pair) of male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteuos of you. and Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)." [49:13]

This is adressed to all mankind and not only to the muslim brotherhood. As it is , mankind is descended from one pair of parents. Their tribes,

races, and nations are convenient labels by which we may know certain differind characteristics. Before Allah they are all one , and he gets more honour who is most righteous.
