Secret circle is the new series that started last week on CW.
I liked the debut and was looking forward to watching another show tonight but forgot to set the timer on my DVR. :o
Anyway who’s watching it?

So I guess the jist of it is this:
All the kids' parents are aware of the whole witch thing. It seems that they were once part of their own secret circle, but something happened along the way, and they're not one anymore. Also, there's a crystal/stone that Diana's dad has, which he gave to Faye's mom (the high school principal). Apparently, the crystal has supernatural powers.
Faye's grandfather (dad's dad), shows up and tells Faye's mom that it's not a good idea to be practicing magic again, and there was a reason why the previous group was broken. She doesn't like what he says, so she gives him a heart attack (by use of the stone), and either kills him or sends him someplace. I couldn't tell which it was.
Faye still doesn't wanna bind the circle. She doesn't want to be controlled by the others. It seems that once the circle has been binded, that their individuals powers are not as strong anymore. Faye seems to be having fun experimenting with her powers. At some party, they show Faye being upset with some girl, and she shoves her but doesn't realize the strength she has. The girl goes flying, and hits her head on a rock. Seems to be that she's dead. Faye's mom shows up with the crystal, and presses it against the girl's head, and magically she's all better.
Cassie and Adam bond. Adam's girlfriend doesn't like it, but knows that Adam can convince Cassie to agree to the binding.
Cassie finally agrees to the binding because she sees how individually they can hurt people.
The last scene shows them as a group around a fire on the beach, and Diane reading from the 'witch book', where they have all agreed to become the circle.
I think that's about it!
ps - i loved the scene last week with Adam and Cassie bring all those waterdrops into the air in the forest :D

Also, I’ve heard the writers/directors of this show are the same as the ones on Vampire Diaries. Maybe that’s why we like it so much
