The Seatbelt And The Destruction Of Muslim History Including Jannat-ul-Baqi

By: Sadik H. Kassim

During our ride out of Medina Airport my uncle queried our driver about why people in Saudi Arabia do not wear seatbelts. Our driver immediately went into a grand bit of histrionics declaring the seatbelt to be a bid’ah …

I once met a Shia taxi driver who said that wearing a red cap, and going to the toilet was an innovation and not practiced by the Shias and hence was a Bida'a...

He continued his tangent by suggesting the red cap to be an American/Israeli invention intended to subvert basic Islamic principles. Our driver’s fatwa, although not legally binding, serves to illustrate the paranoid and irrational world outlook of the Shia school of thought.

Man, these taxi drivers are crazy...:D

This is a picture of Al-Baqii. Notice the plain graves. That is how graves are supposed to be for Muslims. We are Muslims, follow the Sunnah, we are not those who deny.

Blessed are those who eradicated all evil, innovation and shirk from the Holy land.

Ooops! I didnt know, it would hurt you that much. Sorry!

but what could I do, TRUTH IS SAUER, they say :p

Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “May Allaah destroy the Jews! They have taken their graves as places of worship.” (Agreed upon).

Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the women who visit graves and those who build mosques over them and place lamps on them.”

I dont know why your books contradict themselves:

Shiekh Abdul Qadir Jilani in his book Ghuniyat-ul-Talibeen on page 430 (urdu edition):

Hamza bin Ziyarat narrated that he saw Rasulallah (saww) and Hz. Ibrahim (as) in his dream. Both prophets were praying on/at the grave of Hussain (as).

Scanned Page page 430 - first two lines of last paragraph.

Book Title

According to Ulema, The dream in which you see Rasulallah (saww) could never be false. And the state in which you see him (saww) is also true.

Written by Hazrat Shams Siddiqui Barelvi?

We know how much Barelvis don’t practice Bida’a…

Bring a book from some Wahabbi scholar buddy…We are discussing Wahabbism here…

And Hamza bin Ziayarat is nothing more than an Ashaba…Not a Prophet or an angel…

oh and I thought Nabi of Allah (saww) said: The sahabas are like stars. Anybody who follows them will get guidance. :/

BTW, by saing that, do you agree that sahaba could be wrong and do mistakes in thier decisions??

YUSUFALI: The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity.
PICKTHAL: And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness - Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph.

Ameen :flower1:

i dont see the hue and cry over leveling the graves. i mean comon, you would rather go grave worshiping? any how, the way i understand it from schoalrs that sahabas were HUMANS not prophets, so they COULD make mistakes INDIVIDUALLY, but collectively they could not because then it would mean the the rasul :saw: did not train his pupils correctly. one or two students in class can make mistakes but if the entire class makes mistake then it means the teacher didnt do his job. and the prophet :saw: did his job completely inshallah

The sahabas were like stars was a daeef hadeeth. Ofcourse they did make mistakes. We are nothing in front of them but yes they were humans also. Only a nabi is masoom.
