If Talibans are trying to establish an Islamic estate, Muslims are opposing them more than non-Muslims.
If you can't digest Taliban's Islamic ruling then you better be quiet than ooposing them as that might not harm Taliban but would give a laughter to non-Muslims.
And look well armed, very strong America can't do anything about Taliban.....so they are trying to use Foolish Muslims to harm Taliban.
Americans can release any "Gora" from any part of the world but they are unable to do anything about their missionaries who has been arrested by Talibans few weeks back.

very nice comments from Amitayus. I agree. There is a BIG gap between religious schools/universities and technological universities. Anyone who seeks admission in a religious institute has to forget about the technology/modern world. and anyone who seeks admission in technological universities has to say goodbye to religious understanding… there is no more ‘common’ ground in the two fields.
General P. Musharaf is doing something about it. He is introducing Computer IT as part of the normal education and even provided money to Islamic schools to train kids with latest technology. (I read in the paper some time ago).

Let Pervaiz Musharraf what he can, but we need to build up a curriculum/education system which educates individuals in both aspects of life, not just one.
A conclusion of a recent international confrence about our current state.
We Muslims should become good Muslims first then we can think of learning other things.
If we try to do both things....Religious Education and Worldly Education.....we would end up losing both ends.
All of you would be aware of the ending of a foolish man who tried to ride in two boats at the same time
Thats what is happening to us.
We need to forget this worldly education for one or two generations.......And don't worry brothers Muslims are not doing brilliant these days anyway.
We should invest all our resources in bringing up good Muslims.
When our next generations become practising Muslims then we can rejoin modern education.
Just think about the time of Prophet(peace be upon him).....There were all sorts of sciences in his time but he didn't force his companions or Ahl-e-Bait to learn them.......because he knew that once a Muslim nation strong enough to stand on its feet they will learn these modern sciences in very short time.
And thats what happened......We had big names of Muslim scientists in every field
either its Physics...Chemistry....Mathematics...Biology or any other subject.
But you wouldn't find any big scientist in Prophet's(peace be upon him) time.
We need to repeat that practice again.....forget everything and prepare actual Muslims.....
Once real Muslim nation is back....it would be just a matter of very short time to lead in modern education once again.

If we are alive for next few decades, you will see Taliban's future.
