well a rumour spread in the whole N.W.F.P that an earthquake has destroyed the whole city of Kabul and there will be one in N.W.F.P at 4:30 am. so the whole city spent the night in the streets. dont know where this rumour spread from but each and every person in Peshawar knew about it and spent the whole night praying and reciting Quran. and in the morning all the mosques were full of people.

well according to BBC it was spread by a man in KARAk who annouced it by Loud speaker. and then it got spread like a fire.
yeah its better that ppl saw the mosques but poor ppl had to stay out in the cold and it was raining too.
