The friends and family from the 80s also tell me that that it was very common to say/hear no we don’t give a damn about Royal wedding of Diana and Charles, but when the day arrived…no one could miss a glimpse and did that wedding went on to become one of the most watched event of the century? So yes…you will witness this event in one way or another. In UK we have holiday, so lets not pretend that we’ll be hiding under our beds and locking the TV rooms.

yes yes, issi liay kaha hai na…if i am present and the news channel is on, i’ll watch it. i’m just not too fussed about it. i think there is much much more to brit culture and traditions than the royal family.
