My name is Ayesha. Born in Karachi, ran away to Lahore with fam after my father passed away, raised in New York City and currently residing in Istanbul with my turkish hubby and 2 kids.

Interesting? =)

I had no need for a Pakistani forum before this, lekin Istanbul main apne des ki yaad aur zyaada aati hai. Especially, kyun ke bohot arasa hu gaya NYC ke badtameez pakistani taxi drivers nazar nahi aayai mood kharab kerne ke liyai lolz.

I landed on GS some time ago, trying to find a Pakistani community here in Istanbul. It was a dead end as the thread was inconclusive. I’m hoping there are some expats here on GS that can give me some info regarding any bhoolay bhatkai pakistanis in Istanbul.

Yoga teacher hun, RYT certified. Ashtanga, pregnancy aur kids yoga sikhati hun.

Babywearing educator hun, as a volunteer I coach moms in how to carry their kids using different carriers.

Language coach hun, English conversation coaching is my specialty.

My family lives in NYC now and I miss them load! My friends are scattered between Isloo and Lahore. Lekin des se itna door pehli baar mahsoon ker rahi hun. My sister asked me if there is a desi store that I can buy the desi masalas etc from. I told her Haan, qareeb tareen desi store Pakistan main hai!

So far =) Mujhe yaqeen hai, humare Pakistanis, yahan Istanbul main bhi kahin dhakkai chuppai reh rahai hain.

I have many friends there and one visited the place as well but it ll be really dangerous for you to get introduction with them bcoz "unn ko qarz mangnay key buhat aadut hay mairi tarah " :hinna:
